I’ve been in business for close to three years now and absolutely love what I do. I want to see it all and shoot it all. Most people believe you should specialize, narrow your field and find a niche but if I focus on children, I’ll miss weddings and if I specialize in weddings, I won’t get my baby fix and if I don’t deal with families, well then, I’m just missing out. So that said, I’ll take on whatever comes my way and give it my own twist.

A good lens – love my 50 1.2 and all those on my wish list.

LOVE ProDPI prints, press cards, mounted prints… haven’t found anything from ProDPI that I don’t love!

Are there any ProDPI products that have enabled your success?
The prints. They are just perfect – spot on and I know when I place an order that they will arrive exactly how I expect them to. I need this kind of confidence in my supplier, in order to have confidence in myself and my work.

The best advice that I can give in selecting a photographer is to choose one whose images tug at your HEARTSTRINGS!

And very simply, that is what I strive to do. I want to create art for you. For your family. For your life. For your home. I want to take the “everday” and make it “everlasting”. I want to capture your love, your life, your relationships.

What got you into wedding/portrait photography?
My love of images, portraits, family photography. Reading lots of lots of photographers blogs. Feeling that I was ready for the next step in my life. Testing the waters and finding I was ready to dive in and swim!!

What are your favorite types of subjects to shoot and why?
Maternity & newborns are my love! I see women come out of their shell when they are with me. They feel beautiful and want to document this time in their lives and I can do that! And newborns, well, they are just amazing creatures. I feel mesmerized watching them sleep. I work really hard to convey a peaceful feeling with my newborns.

I also love families for the crazy love, the differences, the beauty, the connections.

Babies are up there too, as favorite types of subjects, because each age and stage brings new fascination with life that I love to see over and over through my lens.

I love to capture love.

What is your favorite piece of photographic equipment?
Hmmmmm…..tough one. I like each piece for it’s purpose. Love my 50mm 1.4 for newborns. My 85mm 1.2l for outdoors and portraits and my 24-70l for wide angle shots, especially with outdoor maternity sessions or family sessions. I also use my 24-70 indoors to get a wide angle on rooms.

What got you into wedding/portrait photography?
I love working with people and love being a photographer. The two easily came together and I knew I always wanted my own business. I never knew it would grow into what it is today, all kudos to my awesome clients!

What are your favorite types of subjects to shoot and why?
I predominantly shoot Weddings, Engagements and High School Seniors. I won’t lie, Engagements are probably my very favorites. In a relaxed and fun atmosphere it really gets my creative juices flowing and my clients trust me enough to do whatever I want.

Hard choice, a tough tie between my 24L and 85L.

Double sided wallets are definitely different and help me stand out to the seniors. Their accordian wallets are also a hit with the families!

I’ve always dreamt of being a photographer. I carted my camera around everywhere scared I might miss something amazing. I stopped horseshoeing when I had my first baby, and started shooting Horse Shows. I felt like it was what I should have been doing all along, I’m so in love with every aspect of it!

What got you into wedding/portrait photography?
Horse Shows progressed to portraits and then weddings. It all fell together… truly fated! I am so blessed to get to be apart of the most amazing moments of people’s lives.

What are your favorite types of subjects to shoot and why?
I honestly love it all. Every situation is different and I find it the best part of the job, my mind is always working, the wheels are always turning trying to find the best shot, the best light, the best location.

I have to say the 24-70 it does everything pretty fantastically! But the 16mm is a close second

Photography is a passion. As most people would say, it started as a hobby. I have a graphic design background which helps me in more ways that I could ever imagine. An image is more than just capturing a moment in time, it tells a story. I allow the subject to create their own story. My job is just to make sure its told by the best angle and colors as possible.

What got you into wedding/portrait photography?
I love working with people. As a designer, I am in front of a computer all day. Shooting portraits and weddings make me interact with people while still getting paid. What’s not to like about that?

People who enjoy getting their picture taken. It is almost too easy getting amazing shots with people who have great energy and a love for life.

my Sigma 10-20mm lens. Very sharp and VERY wide!

Accordion books, proof books, oversized prints. Hoping to get a 1.5″ standout soon!

Accordion books are a great inexpensive way to introduce clients to ProDPI’s quality work. I always have to reorder more books.

I am a lifestyle photographer located in northwestern Pennsylvania. I developed a love for art at a very young age, mainly drawing, painting and designing, but my fondness for art shifted as I got older. My love of art and desire to capture moments that happen in everyday life is what really got me into photography. I really loved dealing with children. Their spirit and energy were the first things that drew me in. I have recently grown to love working with high-school seniors, though. They are SO much fun. I love the attitude and confidence of that age and it’s so great to see just how different each senior is. Love it!

I would say my favorites are definitely children, seniors and couples. Children…so innocent and entertaining! They are curious and have such genuine expressions. Seniors…I know I said this before, but the attitude, independence and confidence of seniors is awesome. Love capturing that!! With couples, I love seeing the emotion…the little glances and the way they interact with one another is so inspiring. It is a joy to experience that through a lens

My body….Canon 5DMII. LOVE!

Hey! My name is Sarina and my photography business is based here in sunny Southern California.

In college, I had a natural passion for web and graphic design. I wasn’t sure how to develop this into a career so I pursued a business degree to stay on the safe side. As the years progressed, my business skills evolved as well as my passion for creating. I itched to show off my creative side and eventually started getting into photography.

What got you into wedding/portrait photography?
I have always been in love with “love”. I grew up liking pretty girly things and I couldn’t wait to plan my own wedding. I decided to venture into wedding photography because I just love the idea of capturing the essence of a lovely day and the cute and endearing moments a wedding day holds.

What are your favorite types of subjects to shoot and why?
I love shooting couples because there’s true emotion behind the picture. Whether its sincerity, passion, or playfulness; a couple’s picture together says it all.

Currently, I’m really favoring me 70-200mm IS 2.8 lens. It might be heavy, but you get used to it and the results are simply amazing. So sharp yet creamy!

I use ProDPI exclusively for all my prints from small to large. I plan to venture more and use them exclusively for my albums as well in the near future.
