We are saddened this morning by the news of Jen Thompson’s death. Please continue to send thoughts and prayers for her family especially her two little boys. Jen truly served as an inspiration for so many though her long battle with ovarian cancer. Thank you for all your support over the last with all your donations that allowed Jen to really focus fighting cancer. We absolutely love what our community has done for her and family and she will truly be missed.

A message from Jen’s parents:

Jen Burgess Thompson is no longer in pain. She went to be with our Lord at 5:20 (EDT) on 10-12-2012. She passed away peacefully while holding our hands. We want to thank all her many friends and supporters for your uplifting thoughts, prayers, meals fundraisers, Shots 4 Jen and so much more. Each of you meant so much to her, to all of us. Our love to all of you! -Bill and Patti Burgess and family.

In loving memory, a video featuring Jen & her two boys.
