If you are viewing your prints under anything but a color accurate system they could look off.  We highly recomend a good set of bulbs to proof prints under.  This paired with a well calibrated and profiled monitor should get you pretty darm close to a monitor/print match.

The cheapest way to go about this enlightening task is:

1.  Head to your local home improvement center

2.  Purchase a track light system that uses mr16 bulbs

3.  Purchase bulbs from Solux.  Check them out here

Here is what we use:  4700k, Black Back, 36degree spread, 35w

4.  Install as directed by the fixture manufacturer.
